Wednesday Sep 04, 2019
Wednesday Sep 04, 2019
If you are an actor who has always wanted a family, but don't know how or if you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be a professional actor and a mom- this is the episode for you!
Not only is my guest an actress, she is traveling the country with a National Tour AND being a Mom... Actress, Siri Howard, gives us insight into the world of juggling! She inspires me, as an actor, and will hopefully inspire other actors out there who have always wanted to be a mom, but don’t know how to make it work.
Siri is currently on the National Tour of “The Phantom of the Opera” with her husband and 9-month old baby boy, Jack. She speaks of the adventures in travel, time change, juggling new environments and the challenge of child care on the road.
Check out her tour schedule here!

EP5- HELLP-less...
Wednesday Aug 28, 2019
Wednesday Aug 28, 2019
Imagine you are 30 weeks pregnant, have had an uneventful pregnancy, but then start to experience the normal “being pregnant” symptoms all at once and to an unbearable level. After heading into your doctors office to figure out if everything is ok, they immediately tell you to head to the hospital and don’t stop to pee on the way.
When you get to the hospital, you’re told that you will be having this baby tonight, more like in 30 minutes, because you have about 90 minutes before this syndrome that has started to attack your body, becomes life-threatening.
You are truly...H.E.L.L.P.-less. That is the story of my hero of a guest, Shana Conza and her sweet baby girl Georgia, born at just 2lbs 8oz and 15.5”.
-Shana’s Doctor & Hospital: Dr. Michelle Morgan of OBGYN Westside- Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, New York.

EP4- A couple of DADS...
Wednesday Aug 21, 2019
Wednesday Aug 21, 2019
Here at Mamas in Training, I want to showcase how every family is different, every child is special, every mom is a hero and every Dad can have the same wishes as a mom. If you are non-heterosexual and have ever dreamed of having a family, this couple is here to prove that with a little determination and a lot of patience it can come true.
In this episode, my guests Sean and Tony (a couple of DADS) bring us through their journey of starting a family after being together for 7 years. These two required the utmost patience, as they hit obstacle after obstacle.
During this interview, the excitement in their voices is so palpable, as they were just 2 weeks out from meeting their bundle of joy. No matter what form a family comes in, as long as it is surrounded by love, that’s all that matters and this little one will surely be loved by many open arms.

EP3- The sh** that nobody tells you...
Wednesday Aug 14, 2019
Wednesday Aug 14, 2019
These days, we use so many filters on our life. This episode pulls back the curtain, deletes the filters and talks about the nitty gritty side of being a mama. My guest, Ashley, talks all about the nasty, icky shit that comes with postpartum. Heads up...sex after pregnancy sucks!
In this episode, we don’t hold back, even with our language. So, you may not want to listen with the little ones around. Ashley is a former actor/voice-over artist and audio/stagehand who worked in NYC for years and now she’s a stay at home mom and she’s loving it.
I want to hear from you moms about what other crazy shit has happened to you! Send me an email: thepumpingpodcast@gmail.com and tell me what you experienced!

EP2- When everything seems to fail, but becoming a mama is a necessity…
Wednesday Aug 07, 2019
Wednesday Aug 07, 2019
My guest, Kimberly Much, tells a heart-wrenching story of perseverance and strength. Nothing was going to stop her from becoming a mama and I mean nothing! She and her husband have been through it all and they kept picking themselves back up again and again.
If you’ve ever thought you couldn’t make it past a miscarriage, an adoption challenge or pregnancy, give this episode a listen and I hope it inspires you to keep trying. This couple knew from Day 1 that they were going to be parents and that tunnel vision kept their heads up and their hearts open.
You are not going to believe this episode, it is so powerful and I can’t wait for you to hear it!
If you have any questions for Kimberly about her powerful journey, email me at thepumpingpodcast@gmail.com and I’ll get them answered

EP1- What they don‘t tell you about breastfeeding...
Thursday Aug 01, 2019
Thursday Aug 01, 2019
(Previously called The Pumping Podcast)
So, you go to all the pregnancy classes and breastfeeding classes and you think you're ready to go...and then the day comes that you are being sent to an infectious disease specialist and they're talking about tongue-tie...
Kicking off World Breastfeeding Month, I have a special guest:
In this first episode, my guest, Amanda Fontana, talks about all the things they DON'T tell you about breastfeeding and how her journey was NOT as easy as they make it seem in the classes. No matter how well prepared you think you are, you never know how to truly handle the journey of breastfeeding until you're in the thick of it.
If you have any questions for Amanda about her journey, email me and I'll get them answered. Follow her @amandagracefontana
